why 1 6 is a wrong answer?

my first attempt based on partitions
//        1 2
//          3
//          7
//        6 4
//          8
//          5
gave WA1, is there any kind of tricks in computing smallest group? or Don`t they use sample as a test 1?

sorry 2 cant be in the same group with 3 and 7, did not count that moment in my solution
