Discussion of Problem 1005. Stone Pile

I think this example is wrong!

Let's consider one of the piles has 5+5+13+14 = 37
the other: 27 + 8 = 35. So the difference is 2, not 3;
:-)
Am I right
the first number is the number of stones => (13 + 14 + 8) - (27 + 5) = 3

No!!! the first "5" is the number of stones; is not a weight.
