alp is right about 200 20, but not 100 46; the mean for the latter is 9.81. This code gets WA 1: Locale.setDefault(Locale.US); ... out.printf("Mean = %.2f\n", (double)bestSum / total); And this one gets AC: Locale.setDefault(Locale.US); ... StringWriter sw = new StringWriter(); PrintWriter pw = new PrintWriter(sw); pw.printf("Mean = %.2f", (double)bestSum / total); pw.flush(); String str = sw.getBuffer().toString(); pw.close(); out.println(str); Oh, I've found the reason: their checker is bad and you should use "Mean = %.2f\r\n" (with '\r'!), not "Mean = %.2f\n". Edited by author 09.07.2012 16:19 surprisingly this is the case. I've found that test #1 is the same as sample. I've special-cased it in my program to output exactly what is in the sample output, but I still get WA1. Why? Looks like it depends on language: C and Java program output exactly the same, but C program passes the test, and Java program doesn't. Edited by author 03.08.2011 00:41 I also encountered this problem; exactly the same symptoms. example N = 11, M = 3; 123 456 789 ab the cell "3" can reach from the cell "9", pushing an arrow key only once? I mean "arrow down"? No! You can't reach "3" from "9" pushing only one key. Why not? Because, there is nothing about this kind of actions in the task! From the key "9" you can only reach "1", "8", "6". there is not such words in statement. statement of the problem is not full. There are discribed all avaliable actions in statement and nothing more. So I can't agree with you)) You said that we can reach "1" from "9". How? If we push "Right" we'll reach "a", I think... Push "Left" and you'll reach "9" from "1")) No, sorry, my mistake... "9" from "3"! You said that we can reach "9" from "3". I just pushed wrong digit... I didn't say it. You can reach "3" from "9" by pushing 2 keys!) Edited by author 30.04.2007 22:31 1. You said Because, there is nothing about this kind of actions in the task! From the key "9" you can only reach "1", "8", "6". So, how we can reach "1" from "9"? 2.Later you said "Push "Left" and you'll reach "9" from "1"))" We'll reach "b" by pushing Left. Edited by author 01.05.2007 00:11 Oh! I got it!)) I meant the field 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 So you are right!) Sorry!) It's not clear from problem statement because meaning of "moving cursor up" and "moving cursor down" depends on topology. We'd assume default flat topology with boundaries, but special rules for LEFT/RIGHT makes us thinking that there are similar rules for UP/DOWN. At least moving down from row Y-1 to empty cell in row Y could result in stop at the last character. Edited by author 02.08.2008 13:07 example N = 11, M = 3; Mean = 1.55 2 1 2 1 0 1 2 1 2 3 2 I reseave WA on test 13. Please help me who know It seems that test #17 is incorrect. I just increased bounds of arrays in my program from 256 to 1000 and got AC instead of WA17. Could you check that, please. please give me some right tests... thanks... Those who worked above this program, help me. I receive Wrong Answer on the test №14. What can it be? I've just solve it! Here are some tests! 5 5 Mean = 1.20 0 1 2 2 1 5 1 Mean = 1.20 0 1 2 2 1 5 2 Mean = 0.8 1 1 0 1 1 And don't forget that the first simbol is connected with the last! It helped me to pass WA#12! Good Luck! Thanks to all who helped me. It was my first ACM problem which i tried to solve. :) And don't forget that the first symbol is connected with the last! It helped me to pass WA#12! It did not help me, however; I still have WA#12 My program's output on your first two tests is placing the zero in the middle, but the task says: "If there are several variants, output any of them", so I don't think that would make the output fail. Maybe I am wrong? Edited by author 27.11.2007 04:36I want to add that you can't move UP if there is no cell upper current cell and you can't move DOWN if there is no cell lower current cell. One more test: 1 1 Mean = 0.00 0 Please anybody help me! Give me 12 test, or same test, please I have Crash16 many time. Later I increased the massiv containing distances from the set cell up to all others with 256 up to 1000 and has received AC. Why???? In a condition it is written that cells up to 256! I can give you! Edited by author 28.02.2007 17:36 kotagimdi zheme! 17 test... |
