This contest is personal in fact, i.e. in Ekaterinburg the individual programmers will compete. But here on Timus Online Judge a team may participate, I mean no one will ban it. But I think your power is enough to take part in this contest personally. Then you can compare your results with the results of the best Ekaterinburg programmers, like Vladimir Yakovlev.
