back to boardCommon BoardWhy memory limit is changed? Posted by PoiNT 29 May 2006 15:35 In many tasks memory limit is changed to 16 Mb. What is aim of this innovation? Java programming language is going to be available from the 1-st of June (+) Java programs need more memory than Pascal and C++ ones - more than 1 Mb. for A+B Problem. More over, used memory may vary within rather wide range because of Java compiler peculiarities. I think that 4 Mb. is just enough, but Vladimir Yakovlev wants to play safe. That is why 16 Mb. memory limit was applied to almost all problems. Thanx Posted by PoiXP 29 May 2006 16:52 Thanx for the quick answer. There is great that soon we can write on JAVA, but memory limit for another languages is not a limit any more :) |
