| What is ' Wrong Answer 7' stands for? | TOOTH | 1036. Lucky Tickets | 20 May 2007 19:43 | 6 |
When I submited, it always said "Wrong Answer text#7" Who can tell me what does it means? It means your program or your solution is wrong :) :))))))))) ACM.Krupko_Victor[Ivanovo SPU] 19 Jan 2006 18:51 what the number mean? why isn't it '5' or '1' When you submit your program it is launching on some tests. If after it you get WA 7 it means that on 7-th of these tests your program gives Wrong Answer. There is big answer on 7th test. |

Try to input data using stdio only or using iostream only, because your code works differently in the different compilers. Thank, but I used only <iostream.h> with functions cin, cout. And for input strings I used gets function. In this tests my program output: 1 a a ans:0 1 a b ans:-1 2 aa aa ans:0 2 as sa ans:1 2 as ad ans:-1 and finnaly for test 11 abracadabra racadabraab ans:9 I tried to change gets to cin & now I have WA#4 Thank you very much for attention!!!

Idea TSU: Machvi 13 May 2007 02:39 something tells me that it must be solved by building a graph and finding strongly connected components for each new income of data. :)) It can be solved by using disjoint set.And hash table may be useful to help,or you can use binary search instead. |

It is said in problem text that the number of measurings does not exceed 25001. But my program get AC only if I set this number >=25002, else WA#9!!! Check your test please!!! This problem appeared after rejudgement. Sorry for wrong verdict after regudge. N was equal 25002 in 9th test. It was my bug. Limitations in the problem statement were changed. Now N <=25000 (as in the original version of problem). All tests with N>25000 were fixed, submits were rejudged. If somebody will find more bugs in this problem, please, write about it. Edited by author 14.05.2007 00:30 Sandro, you add only one test? In test 9 M=2. My wrong solution works now 0.015 :))) Edited by author 14.05.2007 04:59 The limitations in the problem statement are weak. Do you have a test that fails your solution with "if m<100"? By the way you can also replace this line with "if m<1000" :) Try to solve this problem with limitations N<=10^6, numbers <= 10^9. It will be not so easy to get AC with O(N^2) solution. :) If you have some good tests you can mail me: sandro sobaka plotinka ru Edited by author 14.05.2007 11:48 |
